Happy birthday to me.

Even though i was never big on celebrating birthdays, this year was a memorable one. The state of emergency is effective nation wide in Japan now and i had been staying home for a month. It casted some shadow on the day when the choice to go out and celebrate is no available. But i had my friends and colleagues singing happy birthday to me through video calls and we shared many drinks and laughs. Then I got the chance to talk about all the insane frustration at work, it has been months since i get to vent freely. Venting will not change the situation but it helps to destress.

This morning i got a text from my best friend saying welcome to the wrong side of the age. Yup, the 30s here i come.
