
Happy New Year!!
It’s been a long while since i last posted about my cooking because i had been busy. Finally made it to new year holiday to have a few days to myself!
I did something very simple today. Grilled myself some chicken thigh and shitake mushrooms, simmered them a bit in soy sauce & mirin then it’s good to go. I run out of mixed grain so the rice was just normal rice + barley. 542 kcal, feel that I am getting better at controlling what i eat.
Keeping on the hard work in 2019 to eat healthier and exercise more.
Looking back on 2018, it was totally a blast. I saw my little brother graduated college, got my new job, moved across the globe, settled back to Japan, went to my Japanese bestie’s wedding……
Now finger crossed that 2019 will be as excited. 😀
